Dr. Zurflu was born in The Dalles, Oregon and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Or. He has practiced in Bend since 1976 and in the Redmond office since 2009. Dr. Zurflu has advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of disc injuries, facet pain and whiplash and industrial type of injuries. He is certified on the Cox/McManis flexion-distraction table, which provides nonsurgical spinal decompression and mobilization for the treatment of facet pain, disc bulging and sciatica. In addition, Dr Zurflu utilizes a number of massage, myofascial release, physio therapy and rehabilitation techniques in conjuction with orthodox spinal adjusting (manipulation), non-force instrument adjusting and Cox mobilization/decompression therapy.
